For me, marketing was key, and this company has done more marketing for me in the first 30 days than most companies would do in a year. A lot of companies say they will do all these great things for you, but when you get there, its just a lot of talk.

When you interview with a company they always make it sound good but once you start you find there are lots of issues they covered up. This is not the case with WR Starkey. It is better than what you thought. I believe that because the owner of the company was a Loan Officer before - he knows what it is like to do the job. I also believe that because he is a Christian (the core values of the company are established and grounded in that) which makes things run smoother. I believe everything starts from the top and flows down.

I joined WR Starkey because as a loan officer who specializes in government lending origination, I had never seen such common sense underwriting and having a underwriting dept. that looks for ways on how to make the deal work as my competition looks for things to say no on the loan. WR Starkey in mind is a leader in gov't. origination and it shows in my closing and commission income.
